Cherry Norton

Cherry has a proven record as a newspaper journalist with over 10 years experience working for The Sunday Times and The Independent. In London she covered social affairs and health before moving to Tokyo as a Foreign Correspondent for The Sunday Times.

Wyn Evans

Wyn has 25 years’ experience in political communications. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Forty Shillings, one of the UK’s leading property communications agencies, having previously worked at Lexington and Good Relations.

Neil Sherlock CBE

Neil has spent the last 30 years creating and delivering messages to key audiences.After beating Boris Johnson to become President of the Oxford Union, Neil became a speechwriter for Paddy Ashdown, was a Parliamentary candidate in 1992 and 1997 and served as a special adviser to Nick Clegg.

Nicola Horlick

Nicola read Law at Balliol College, Oxford and she was made an Honorary Fellow of Balliol last year. She has over thirty-five years of experience managing funds and was responsible for leading the development of top the UK fund management companies. In 2013, Nicola co-founded Money&Co.

Lord Cooper of Windrush

Andrew Cooper entered the House of Lords in 2014 as a Conservative peer, but now sits as an Independent. He worked for the Conservative Party from 1995-1999, first as deputy director in the Conservative Research Department and then as Director of Strategy from 1997-1999

Angela Smith

Angela Smith was the Labour MP for Sheffield Hillsborough from 2005-2010. In 2010 she was re-elected to Parliament as MP for the new constituency of Penistone & Stockbridge. She was the Parliamentary Private Secretary to Yvette Cooper at the Department of Communities and the Treasury

David Gauke

David Gauke was the Conservative MP for South West Hertfordshire from 2005 until 2019. He served in a succession of Ministerial posts in the Treasury from 2010 and being appointed Chief Secretary to the Treasury in 2016. He was promoted to Secretary of State for Work & Pensions in 2017


Garvin Brown

Garvin Brown recently retired from Brown-Forman Corp. The company was founded by his great-great-grandfather in 1870, and is the distiller of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, along with other fine spirits brands. Garvin began his employment at Brown-Forman in 1996 in field sales in New York City.

Lord Oates

Jonathan Oates has been a member of House of Lords since October 2015 where he speaks for the Liberal Democrats on the climate emergency and energy. His other areas of focus are on mental health and international development. From 2017-2019 he was Senior Adviser to the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation.

Luciana Berger

Luciana Berger was elected Member of Parliament for Liverpool Wavertree between 2010 and 2019, following roles with Accenture, the NHS Confederation and the Labour Friends of Israel.


Philip Collins

Philip Collins is a contributing writer at the New Statesman and a columnist at the Evening Standard. He is also the founder and writer-in-chief at the communications agency, The Draft, who write for Chief Executive Officers across the world, to improve the quality of their public language.

Trevor Phillips

Trevor Phillips is a writer and television producer. He is the co-founder of the data analytics consultancy Webber Phillips, and Chairman of Green Park Interim and Executive Search. He is a Times columnist, shortlisted for Comment Writer of the Year in 2020.

Peter Kellner

Peter Kellner has been President of the pioneering online survey research company, YouGov since April 2007, having served as Chairman from 2001 until 2007. He is also Chairman of the Royal Commonwealth Society.


Rory Stewart

Rory Stewart is a Senior Fellow at the Jackson Institute, Yale University, where he focuses on contemporary politics in crisis and on international development and intervention in fragile and conflict-affected states.

Alistair Carmichael

Alistair Carmichael is the MP for Orkney and Shetland and the Liberal Democrat spokesman on Home Affairs, Northern Ireland and Constitutional Reform.
