Cherry has a proven record as a newspaper journalist with over 10 years experience working for The Sunday Times and The Independent. In London she covered social affairs and health before moving to Tokyo as a Foreign Correspondent for The Sunday Times.

Cherry is a published academic in the field of climate change narratives in the British media, following a Masters in Global Environmental Change at King’s College London. As a communications professional she has transferred her journalistic skills to the digital space and has a proven record of implementing successful social media campaigns in both the political and business sphere. She is a founding Partner of Shared Voice, running digital campaigns to mobilise public support.
