Philip Collins is a contributing writer at the New Statesman and a columnist at the Evening Standard. He is also the founder and writer-in-chief at the communications agency, The Draft. The work of The Draft is to write for Chief Executive Officers across the world, to improve the quality of their public language. His latest book is To Be Clear is a dictionary of good and bad business language. He also teaches a course on rhetoric at the Blavatnik School of Government at Oxford University. Between 2004 and 2007 he was the chief speech writer to the Prime Minister Tony Blair in 10 Downing Street. Prior to that he was the Director of the independent think tank, The Social Market Foundation.
