Non-Executive Board

Neil has spent the last 30 years creating and delivering messages to key audiences.

After beating Boris Johnson to become President of the Oxford Union, Neil became a speechwriter for Paddy Ashdown, was a Parliamentary candidate in 1992 and 1997 and served in the Coalition Government as a special adviser to Nick Clegg. He was the editor with Neal Lawson of the Progressive Century: the future of the centre-left in Britain.

In business, he was a partner at KPMG working for Lord Sharman and Sir Mike Rake, and at PwC for Margaret Cole and Sir Ian Powell. Neil is currently non executive chair of Echo Research and was the former chair of the Brexit Forum of the French Chamber of Commerce.

In the charity sector he was chair of Working Families, trustee of Demos and is currently a trustee of the National Literacy Trust.
