We are a movement operating outside the confines of the electoral cycle and political parties, welcoming progressives, from all tribes and none, who want to effect real change. We’re creating the space to build solutions to the challenges the UK faces, offering a different and more honest politics, and encouraging the bold ideas to secure prosperity for today and future generations.

Politics must find answers to these big challenges, map out a plan to meet them and to harness the opportunities they present for our prosperity and the common good.   Progressives must offer this: a politics of hope, and a vision and a plan, rooted in the issues and priorities of the British people while striving to deliver for future generations. 

Our current political discourse obstructs serious debate and coherent policy making. The politics of division corrodes both our sense of community and common purpose towards a common goal. Politics seems disconnected from most people’s lives and the way it is conducted is making people increasingly lose hope in the capacity of politics to change anything for the better. 

But politics done well can be transformative. We want to do politics differently. We want to show in the work we do that there can be a different, better, franker, fresher, braver and more honest politics.
